Second half fightback from Men's 2's

A game that could have gone either way was won by an excellent team performance by the 2nd men's team.

They took an early lead from a Will Porter penalty flick but Bath B replied with two well taken goals. After half time Bassett pressed immediately yet could have have gone further behind, but Josh Smith was alert to the danger. Bassett weathered the storm and then converted with a powerful strike from the tenacious Dan Stanley. Man of the match Anthony 'buggy' Matthews then sealed the points with a magnificent reverse deflection from a Dave Siggins pass. The second half was a fantastic team performance with midfield and forwards giving their alll, and the defence standing firm to consolidate 2nd place in the league.
