A confident performance resulted in a convincing win for the Ladies 1st XI. The team demonstrated good passing with clear communication between players to offer an excellent display of hockey. A well-positioned pass upfield gave Emma Collison opportunity to drive into the D and lifting the ball over the keeper put Bassett onto the scorecard. A second goal followed from a well executed penalty corner by Tegan Buchanan. BAC fought back and despite a good effort by keeper Gemma Vinton they joined the scorecard with a penalty flick. At half time Bassett led 1-2. Half-time offered an opportunity to re-group and gain composure to ensure a second half display of well-distributed hockey. Good passing from midfield through to the frontline gave striker Ceri Burgess opprtunity to score 2 goals in quick succession. Suzanne Lello joined the scorecard with a calm and controlled play around the keeper and onto the backboard. The final goal game from a pass across the D from Tegan Buchanan, knocked into the goal by Suzanne Lello infront of the keeper. Player of the match was Vik Sammon.
